Often times when gambling, it's best to follow the odds. Playing into the odds greatly increases your chances of making back your money and then some; playing against the odds heightens your chances for making even more money, but involves much greater risk. Whether it be the Kentucky Derby, Belmont stakes, or any of the other horseracing events throughout the year there is a great deal of money changes hands from the traces and like all other sports horseracing remains something of an anomaly to many.
